The Jazz Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience is here, signaling the end of an eventful summer in Aspen, Snowmass, and throughout Pitkin County. Whether you’re a diehard Dave Grohl fan eager to see the Foo Fighters or hoping for a relaxing evening with the Lumineers, JAS is the best way to conclude a summer in the valley.

This year’s lineup kicks off Friday with Grace Potter and the Lumineers. Saturday will feature James Bay, Brothers Osborne, and Old Dominion. The experience concludes Sunday with Jade Jackson, Billy Idol, and the Foo Fighters.

Transportation and parking

There is no on-site parking at the JAS Labor Day Experience, with the exception of VIP ticket buyers who purchased Rodeo Parking passes. JAS encourages everyone to use public transportation (RFTA) to get to and from the site.

From Aspen, festival-goers should take the JAS shuttles leaving from the Rubey Park Transit Center near Wagner Park.

From Snowmass, JAS shuttles will take patrons from stops in Snowmass Village to the venue. The shuttles will be RFTA busses and school busses, not TOSV busses. TOSV busses will be dropping patrons off at the Alternative Transportation Drop-Off.

To get to Snowmass from downvalley, you can hop on a regularly scheduled RFTA bus to Brush Creek Park and Ride (Intercept Lot). JAS shuttles will leave the lot from the northeast side of the parking lot and will drop you off at the transportation center at the Snowmass Town Parking Lot.

Bag policy

Bags the size of “small carry-on bags” will be permitted, according to the JAS website. The dimensions should not exceed 9 inches by 14 inches by 22 inches. Each person is allowed one bag, and all bags are subject to inspection before being admitted.

Other things to note

Lose your bag? Drop your jacket? Don’t worry, JAS lost-and-found is located next to the box office. After the festival, lost-and-found items can be claimed at the Snowmass Village Police Department.

Empty, plastic water bottles are permitted and can be filled up at the free water stations located throughout the venue.
